ORADELL, NJ, July 28, 2025– Bergen Catholic is proud to announce the appointment of Peter Rice ’88 as the school’s Vice President of Admissions. Mr. Rice comes to Bergen Catholic after having worked for the past seventeen years at Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ.

Mr. Rice is a 1988 graduate of Bergen Catholic and a graduate of Seton Hall University where he earned both his undergraduate degree in Journalism in 1992 and his master’s degree in Corporate Communications in 1994. Mr. Rice served as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Seton Hall University for four years before becoming the Assistant Dean of Student Services at Middlesex County College for nine years. In 2007, Mr. Rice began his twelve-year tenure as the Director of Admissions at Ramapo College

At Ramapo College, Mr. Rice led the Admissions Department and supported alumni relations, annual and parent giving, the Friends of Ramapo and major admissions and fundraising events. In addition to being a proud Bergen Catholic alum, Mr. Rice is also a Crusader alumni parent, as his son Brian graduated from BC in 2018.
