The 澳门博彩官网 Parents Association is excited to announce the 2024 澳门博彩官网 Tuition Raffle! All proceeds of the raffle are for the benefit of 澳门博彩官网's 澳门博彩官网 Fund.
Date:
- The 澳门博彩官网 Tuition Raffle will be drawn on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 9:00pm, at 澳门博彩公司 in Oradell, New Jersey.
- The winning ticket holder does not need to be present at the drawing to win. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email by Monday, March 25, 2024.
Eligibility:
- Must be a legal resident of the United States and must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to participate.
Entry:
- Tickets are one hundred dollar ($100.00) each.
- A maximum of five hundred (500) tickets will be sold.
- Each ticket shall represent an equal opportunity to win the raffle.
- By purchasing a ticket, purchaser enters this raffle and accepts and agrees to be bound by all of the rules, regulations, limitations, and restrictions set forth herein.
Prize:
- The raffle prize is a fifteen thousand dollar ($15,000.00) tuition credit for the 2024-2025 school year. The tuition credit may be applied to a family's tuition obligation at 澳门博彩公司, or the college or private elementary or high school of your choice, for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Only one winner will be selected. No substitutions will be made, and no cash will be given in lieu of the prize.
- No refund or compensation will be provided if the winning ticket holder withdraws a student from 澳门博彩公司 for the 2024-2025 school year or if the student completes only part of the 2024-2025 school year. The raffle prize winner must claim the tuition credit by December 31, 2024. If the winner does not claim the tuition credit for the 2024-2025 school year by December 31, 2024, the tuition credit will be forfeited.
- Prize winnings are considered taxable income and, as required by the Internal Revenue Service and the State of New Jersey Division of Taxation, 27% in taxes will be withheld from the prize money (24% federal & 3% state) leaving the net prize available for the tuition credit at $10,950. The winner will be issued a Form W-2G for the 2024 tax year related to these winnings.
- Any tax obligations related to the prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner. The raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
- The cost of the raffle ticket is not deductible as a charitable contribution for income tax purposes. It is recommended that the winner consult a tax advisor.
